Mohammad Abdus Sattar is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with over 23 years of experience in accounting, finance, and corporate financial management. He currently serves as Deputy General Manager – Finance & Accounts at Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, where he has spent nearly two decades contributing to financial leadership, process improvement, and strategic decision support.

He has extensive expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, product costing, working capital management, corporate tax and VAT compliance, and internal control systems. He has also been actively involved in the implementation and development of enterprise financial systems, including SAP-FICO and SAP S/4HANA, helping organizations strengthen financial discipline, transparency, and operational efficiency.

He began his professional career with A. Qasem & Co., Chartered Accountants (then an associate firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers and now part of ECOVIS International), where he completed his articleship and later served as Audit Supervisor, participating in statutory audits and financial assignments for multinational companies and international organizations. He subsequently gained industry experience in the consumer goods and telecommunications sectors before joining Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Alongside his corporate responsibilities, he is passionate about sharing practical accounting knowledge with students, professionals, and entrepreneurs. His training emphasizes real-world bookkeeping practices used by SMEs and outsourcing firms, with hands-on exposure to modern cloud accounting platforms including QuickBooks Online.

He has also participated in several executive and professional development programs locally and internationally, including programs at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila, strengthening his capabilities in finance leadership and strategic management.
